Hello!

I am moving out of my amazing 2 bedroom apartment on Grand and Lorimer in Williamsburg and looking for someone to take over my room for $1300 a month (utilities usually $100-$150 extra for everything - cable, internet, electricity, & gas). The apartment is a 4 minute walk to the L train and 7 minutes to the J/M, has a full living room and a large kitchen. Bathroom is a good size and has a tub/shower combo. Bedrooms are on opposite sides of the apartment for maximum privacy.

The room itself is approx 9ftx14ft and easily fits a queen size bed, TV stand, desk and dresser, and also has a good sized closet. It is situated in the back of the building and is extremely quiet, with 2 large windows that let in tons of natural light and overlook several courtyards. It will be unfurnished upon move in!

The roof is accessible from the fire escape or the top floor. It’s not a finished roof but tenants are allowed and I’ve spent many afternoons hanging out up there.

The neighborhood and location are GREAT. There are 4 full service grocery stores within a 5 minute walk, bars and restaurants everywhere and a great laundromat 30 seconds from the front door. Literally everything you need can be found in a 4 block radius.

The other tenant is a 25 year old girl working in hospitality who’s lived in New York for several years now. She’s quiet and respectful when home, and is most often at work on nights and weekends. She’s super chill and just asks that you don’t bring the party home. She also has a small black kitty who lives in the apartment and spends 75% of the time in her room. I only see the cat maybe once every couple of days, but she’s very cute and friendly when she does decide to come out. As long as you don’t have allergies you’d probably never even know she was here.

We are looking for someone to commit to staying until August 1st 2020 when the lease is up and could definitely be renewed. To move in would be $700 prorated rent for September - this includes a portion of utilities for the month - plus $1300 security deposit so $2000 total. Rent for October would be due on the 1st.
