- Laundry in building
- Central ac
Hi! I'm looking to fill two private bedrooms in my 3 bed/1 bath apartment in Bushwick from September 1, 2019–August 31, 2020. The nearby trains are Central Ave M (2 min walk), Kosciuszko J (6 min walk) and Dekalb L (12 min walk). It's an easy commute to the city, esp if you work/study downtown.
There are only two floors and only four units in the building. We're on the second floor, so no noise from above, and the building has a backyard, so no noise from behind. Hardwood floors and high ceilings throughout. Central heat/AC -- each room has its own wall unit. The rooms are all the same size and all have a closet (half-size, see pics) and a big window. The rooms comfortably fit a full bed and dresser, and then either a small desk or bookshelf etc. One room, the one facing the street, has more privacy. The other shares a wall with mine, but has a door out onto the shared balcony over the backyard. The common area has extra shelving/storage, a couch, and a small kitchen table. The kitchen's got a big fridge, gas stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave. The bathroom is small but solid. Everything works fine and I like to keep it v clean. There's a washer/dryer in the basement as well. The neighborhood is great. It's residential and has lots of families, but there are more galleries and bars and boutique fitness studios popping up every day. Bushwick Public House is on our block. Bossa Nova is two blocks away. Walk 5 minutes to Knickerbocker Ave and you've got all the amenities you'd want: Walgreens, CitiMD, Blink Fitness, good bagel place, multiple grocery options, cute coffee shops. In three years here I've never once had a safety issue.
